[placards] is a story set in a Brechtian world where the characters are catergorised into archetypal roles, and these archtypes are displayed on placards, worn around their necks. The film is set against the simple backdrop of a house party as we follow The Everyman, a character who strives to belong despite his unforgiving honesty, as he tries to enjoy his night. Facing conflict from The Ruler, The Everyman must try and break his archetypal role to defeat him, a somewhat impossible task. However, The Everyman is saved by the most unexpected of heroes.
